Join the Centre for International Affairs and  Cooperation (CIAC) in welcoming the participants for IFEX @UUM 2024 in just 30 days! The excitement is building as we approach the start of IFEX @UUM 2024! With only 30 days left until this event, CIAC invites the UUM family to join us in welcoming 15 distinguished visiting professors and lecturers from six different countries who will be participating in this year’s program.

Preparations are well underway after successful briefings with host lecturers on 29 September and visiting lecturers on 1 October, and we are thrilled to announce that everything is set for a dynamic and inspiring week of academic exchange and collaboration from 2–8 November 2024.

This year, 23 distinguished candidates were extended invitations to participate in IFEX @UUM 2024, and we are proud to announce that 15 professors and lecturers from six different countries have accepted the offer. These selected individuals will be formally appointed as UUM Visiting Lecturers under the Joint Appointment Academic Scheme (JAAS), administered by the UUM Human Resource Department. As part of this program, they will collaborate with UUM school members to share knowledge, engage in academic exchanges, and enrich the university’s global engagement efforts.

We are honoured to welcome these esteemed visiting academics, who will bring diverse perspectives to UUM, fostering cross-cultural collaboration and strengthening our international academic network. Join CIAC in welcoming them and supporting the enriching experiences that IFEX @UUM 2024 will offer.
