Student Exchange Programme allows students to study for one to two semesters at any of UUM’s exchange partner institutions and networks abroad. Through the mobility programme, students can enhance their learning experience and learn more about the culture, economics, politics, and ecological aspects of other countries. This will help to develop the students’ global mindset and skills needed for their future career advancement. We encourage UUM students to participate in the outbound mobility programme offered by universities around the world.

REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY

Students must remain actively enrolled as full-time students and will be excluded from paying UUM tuition fees as stipulated by their respective programme for the current semester. Students who participate in an outbound exchange program are recommended to enroll in academic programme relevant to their courses in UUM and the study load is 12 to 21 credits hour per semester.

• Be actively enrolled as a UUM students

• Minimum CGPA for Bachelors Degree of 3.00 or equivalent

• Must complete two semesters of study at UUM (1 year) and must not be in the final semester of study in UUM

• Must agree to enroll at the host institution as prescribed in the program plan

• Able to meet visa requirements of the country of the program, including holding a valid passport

• Must have valid health insurance coverage throughout the duration of the program

• Have necessary personal fundings to meet the required financial obligations

• Clear from any disciplinary record proceedings and changes

• Ready to be an ambassador of UUM abroad and share their experience once they return to UUM.

Students must start to search for the university of their choice by referring to List of University.

HOW TO APPLY?

1. Fill up the application form. Please get the application form – HERE

2. Please refer HERE for link of factsheet and courses of host university.

3. Submit the completed documents to your School and get the approval from the Programme Coordinator and Dean of the School.

4. Then, students have to attend an interview session organized by the School.

5. School will send your application to CIAC for the next process.
