INCOMING STUDENT EXCHANGE (INBOUND MOBILITY)

UUM welcomes international students from any of our partner universities who are eligible to pursue their study at our campus for a period of one semester or two semesters. Students can choose from a wide range of courses which are offered by 15 Schools in UUM. By the end of the programme, we hope students will gain wonderful memories and experience through their active participation in our enrichment and mobility programmes that we offer.

 

REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY

  • Active student nominated by home university.
  • English proficiency approved and recommended by home university.
  • Good academic and co-curriculum record
  • Have completed at least two academic semesters at home university.
  • Must agree to abide by the rules and regulations of UUM or placement provider.
  • Agrees to be responsible for the costs incurred.

HOW TO APPLY?

1. Fill in the application form. Please get the application form HERE.

2. Supporting documents:

  • A copy of academic transcripts with a certified English translation (if the original language is not English).

  • A nomination letter from applicant’s university (home university).

  • A passport-size photo (4.5 cm x 5.0 cm).

  • A copy of passport information page or Student ID Card.

3. Completed application form and supporting documents must be submitted to applicant’s university International Office (home university).

4. Home university International Office will nominate students for the mobility programme by submitting the application to UUM (host university) at global.mobility@uum.edu.my
