The UUM Global Buddies Club (GBC) hosted a thrilling "Tee-Off Triumph: Students' Golf Outing" at the National Golf Academy UUM (AGNUUM). This beginner-friendly event brought together mobility students, AGNUUM students, and GBC members for a morning of fun, learning, and camaraderie.

The air was buzzing with excitement as participants kicked off with a warm-up session led by the friendly and experienced AGNUUM students. Despite the scorching heat, spirits remained high as participants, guided by their mentors, learned the fundamentals of golf, from proper grip and posture to the art of the swing.

Smiles and laughter filled the golf course as participants took their first swings. It was not easy, but with encouragement and helpful tips from the AGNUUM students, everyone had a chance to experience the thrill of hitting the ball.

The event concluded with a heartwarming closing ceremony. The GBC President, Sarvineshaa Amurugam, and the AGNUUM students emphasized the importance of trying new things, building friendships, and embracing the spirit of the game. Each participant received a well-deserved medal as a token of appreciation.

The day ended with a delicious lunch and plenty of photos and videos to capture the memories. Participants shared their positive experiences, highlighting the fun and the valuable lessons learned.

The program was a resounding success, achieving its goals of introducing participants to golf basics, fostering social interaction, and creating lasting memories. The GBC looks forward to organising more events that promote cross-cultural understanding and encourage students to step outside their comfort zones.
