SINTOK, 18 November 2024: On 7 November 2024, Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS), the international honor society for business students, held its annual induction ceremony at the EDC Hotel, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). The event welcomed 56 new members, representing the eighth cohort of the BGS UUM Chapter, and celebrated their dedication to academic excellence and integrity.

During the formal and inspiring ceremony, new members received their official certificates and BGS insignias, pledging to uphold the values of Beta Gamma Sigma. The event celebrated the achievements of students in the field of business and management, encouraging them to continue their journey of leadership, integrity, and scholarly excellence.

During the event, Dr Nor Atikah Shafai, the Coordinator of the BGS UUM Chapter, delivered a motivational speech encouraging the newly inducted members to fully utilize their capabilities and seize the unique opportunities available to them as part of Beta Gamma Sigma. Additionally, Prof. Dr Massudi Mahmuddin, Dean of Student Affairs and Alumni, expressed his hope that the BGS club would not only become the top club within the university but also stand out as a leading organization in Malaysia.

This induction marks the beginning of a promising term, with newly appointed board members eager to make a positive impact and contribute to the BGS community at UUM.
