ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. SHAZIDA JAN MOHD KHAN PARTICIPATED IN ERASMUS+ TEACHING MOBILITY AT WEST UNIVERSITY OF TIMIȘOARA

Timisoara, 20 May 2024 — Associate Prof. Dr Shazida Jan Mohd Khan from the School of Economics, Finance and Banking (SEFB) recently participated in the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching program held at the West University of Timișoara from 13 May to 17th 2024. This prestigious event brought educators and professionals from 23 countries together to engage in lifelong learning, professional development, and global networking.

The program aimed to foster collaboration among participants from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds, contributing to sustainable growth, quality job creation, and social cohesion. Throughout the week, Dr. Shazida Jan engaged in workshops, seminars, panel discussions, and interactive sessions on various topics, including curriculum development, student mobility, digital learning technologies, and cross-cultural communication.

Dr Shazida Jan also had the opportunity to visit local educational institutions participating in cultural exchange activities to gain a deeper understanding of Romania's educational system and societal context. The program facilitated valuable exchanges of ideas and experiences, promoting a sense of global citizenship and cultural awareness among participants.

The event concluded with significant outcomes, including developing new partnerships and collaborations, insights into best practices, and the groundwork for future joint projects. Dr Shazida Jan expressed her gratitude for the enriching experience and looks forward to applying the knowledge and insights gained to her work at SEFB.
