UUM ONLINE: In efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between Malaysia and southern Thailand, the Vice-Chancellor   of Universiti Utara Malaysia(UUM)  met with the Governor, Her Excellency Pateemoh Sadeeyamu.

Prof. Dr Mohd Foad Sakdan stated that the programme also aims to further enhance the visibility of Malaysia’s higher education on the international stage, particularly UUM.

According to him, UUM provides opportunities to explore every mobility programme offered by the university that offer valuable experiences for foreign students.

The discussion also focused on the potential collaboration with the Pattani region in various aspects of higher education such as student exchange, staff exchange, joint organisation of seminars or conferences and publication opportunities.

He said that UUM hopes to establish close collaboration with the office of Pattani Governor, which serves approximately 7000,000 residents.
